So, Luke. Now that we’re ready to bite into the meat of it, let’s start with characters! Who is your favorite character and why?
This is difficult because, of course, I love… most of them (the baddies should be mostly disliked most of the time). I will say that Zilzina is closest to my heart, though. She’s based on a D&D character I ran for several years in a campaign that shares a name with this series, Hunger of the Abyss, though the plot was in no way similar.
 I would love to hear more about Zilzina but, as we’re on a time limit, let’s move onto the world. Any interesting trivia about the world you built?
The Oni are largely outcast by the other Frigian cultures due to their historical and genetic association with Demons. They are often found living with Orcs, another race both misunderstood and largely shunned, and share a strong religious culture with them. This ostracization leads them to be extremely defensive and sometimes a bit too quick to resort to violence.
